Playlist Alarm Clock volume issues

Well P.A.C has only been on sale a couple of days but we’re already getting lots of feedback, most of it positive, so thanks guys!
But nothing’s perfect and some of you have some issues mostly concerning volume:
A few people have commented about a perceived bug in that they can’t change the volume while P.A.C is playing or just that it’s too loud. It’s not so much a bug as a consequence of P.A.C having to take control of the volume in order to fade it automatically. Currently P.A.C starts playing the music at a preset volume and then about half way through your chosen time starts to fade down to silence.
What do you think would be the best solution? An option to switch off autofade so that you can manually adjust the volume while you listen? That would impact on the wake up volume… Different volume settings for Sleep and Wake modes?
We’ll be releasing an update asap but in the meantime let us know your thoughts…

    Hey folks

    re. Volume;

having seperate volumes for sleeping and waking up would be great, the fading is a very nice touch – especially for waking up, but being able to set the start levels is more important.

    Thanks guys

The alarm to wake up does not work at all for me. Cam the phone be in standby mode for it to work?

  3. JAson Says:

Ok I just got to work but was only because the phone was being used. Can we let the phone shut down and go in stanby mode like the iPhone alarm clock or do we have to keep the screen on all night?

      Hi JAson

there definitely seems to be some issue with this and we’re looking in to them. Currently it looks like the phone behaves differently if it’s plugged in to a power supply or not. We were imagining most users using this sort of app would have their phones on charge overnight. In this case you can turn the screen off (by pressing the power button) and the app runs in the background just fine until morning. However this doesn’t seem to be the case if the phone is not on charge…

Can you let us know if you were plugged in to the mains or not?

      Hi Jason

sorry to hear you’re having problems with P.A.C. Can you give us a bit more info so that we can try and get to the bottom of the problem:

iPhone or iPod touch? which model?

Which version of the OS are you running?

      Is your device jailbroken?

Is your device running from the mains or it’s battery?

      P.A.C related questions

Is there an artist and song listed in the wake panel?

Are the songs in your playlist still on your device? If you’re not sure try creating a new playlist and pressing play as soon as you have…

Can you give also tell us what your Settings > General > International and Settings > General > Date & Time are please

Sorry to ask so many questions but we’d love to know what’s causing the problem
