The Future of PhotoFrame’s Icon

So we have been toying around with some ideas for a tweaked version of the icon for PhotoFrame’s next update and decided it would be nice to get some input from our users. So without further ado, check out these ideas:

Yes, sunsets are a popular choice! But really what do people think of the silver frame? Also, Is the chrome version better or worse? Sound off in the comments with any thoughts and opinions.

Nothing wrong with nature theme. And I do like the silver frame, very snazzy.

It looks like you might be taking your Icon photo from your photo pool. Could you write in for the Icon to pull the photo from the “#1” photo on the PhotoFrame’s photo store. That way “WE” could select our “#1” photo for the photo store and thus select our own Icon photo. I don’t have the sdk so I don’t know if this is even possible in the structure but I know the ICal Icon changes with the date every day, so the code might be there some where. Any way, it would be cool and very unique. If not, I like beach sunsets to. Oh and I like the silver frame. Great job. Keep up the good work and the functional apps. I like functional.

Thanks for the feedback guys, very glad you like the new direction we are headed with the icon.

Jonathon – Your solution would definitely be absolutely ideal for the app but as far as I know the only amount of customization the SDK allows for icons are notification badges like the ones mail, sms and phone apps use. However, if this feature ever does become available it will definitely be worth looking into, although some photos would probably look awful at such small sizes, we’ll have to see…
