I’d love to think that Apple were listening to us, but I think the recent iTunes 8.1 update has come out far too quickly to be result of our earlier blog. But at least they’ve taken steps to resolve the issue we blogged about previously.
As you can see from the screengrabs above they’ve clarified that Five Stars is good, One Star is bad. It will be interesting to see if the ‘Great App – 1 Star’ reviews continue after this – surely they can’t?
Nice work, Apple!
Now they’ve just got to sort out the Review system on the iPhone version of the App Store which actually does default to One Star and doesn’t give any guidance to what’s good or bad (see below).
